May your angel never leave

In June 2024, I had the honor of giving a special presentation about my career to the group of entrepreneurs I belong to. Before discussing my professional journey, I chose to start by introducing Xiomara when she was just 6 years old.

The message I wanted to convey, which I now share here, is that we have all been children. Although we sometimes overlook this truth, it’s natural: amidst suits, formal attire, and responsibilities, we forget that before being professionals, we are human. That child who learns from life still resides within us. I believe that if we kept this truth more at the forefront, we would understand that we are here to learn, to enjoy, to fall, and to rise again.

So, what would you say to your past self?

One piece of advice: thank them for everything you have achieved and overcome. You may not be exactly where you want to be yet, but you have grown in every way. And your inner child has always accompanied you on this path, which is still unfolding.

For my part, I would say to Xiomara: "Thank you for always believing, for dreaming big, and for aiming for the stars."
